These terms cover your use of golowprofile.com. Paid work is covered by a separate written agreement that you'll see before you pay anything.

General information, not legal advice

Our guides, the Stranger Test and the Low Profile Standard are general information. They aren't legal, tax or security advice, and using them doesn't create a client relationship. Go Low Profile is not a law firm. For decisions about trusts, LLCs, deeds or how to title a home, talk to your own attorney.

What our reports are

An Exposure Review is provided only to the household it covers, or to someone that household authorizes. It isn't a consumer report and may not be used to decide on credit, insurance, employment or housing. We never search for anyone outside the verified household.

Acting as your authorized agent

We file removal and deletion requests only for people who have each signed a permission form naming us as their agent. A parent or guardian signs for children. You can withdraw permission at any time, and we stop filing new requests.

Refunds

You can cancel for a full refund before we deliver your first report. The Exposure Review is refunded in full if it finds nothing to fix. Anyone we decline after screening gets a full refund. After a deliverable, refunds cover the work not yet done. Mailbox and government fees already paid to others can't be refunded.

Monitoring and freezes

Upkeep is exposure monitoring. We recheck where your address appears and file new removals. It isn't identity theft protection or credit repair. Credit and utility freezes are steps you complete yourself with our guide.

Use the tools only for yourself

The Stranger Test is for checking your own household, or a client's household with their consent. Don't use it, or anything on this site, to find or follow another person.

No guarantee of privacy

We work to reduce how many places link your name to your home. Some records stay public, and no one can promise that an address will never be found. The guarantees on our pricing page are the only ones we make, and they apply to paid work.

Accuracy

We check the facts in our guides and show the date each was last reviewed. Laws, forms and company policies change, so confirm anything important before you rely on it.

Links to other sites

We link to government agencies, companies and studies so you can check our sources. We don't control those sites.

Our content

You're welcome to share and cite the Low Profile Standard and our guides with a link back to the page. Please don't republish them in full or present them as your own.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
