How we source and correct our work
Go Low Profile publishes dated reference data from statutes, public agencies and companies' own instructions. Unapproved research stays out of public tables and downloads.
Which sources do we use?
We use the governing statute for a legal rule, the responsible agency for a procedure, and a company for its own product.
We do not copy third-party removal lists or use a competitor's summary as proof. An accessible source must support the precise claim.
How do we check a claim?
Each new dataset row keeps a source URL, a supporting quote, a check date and a next-check date in our research records.
Automated checks compare quotes with current source text. They do not decide legal eligibility. Unreachable or conflicting evidence stays in review.
Legal eligibility, shield-law and county exemption research requires approval before publication. We distinguish published facts from draft research.
How often do we review it?
We schedule laws and public forms for quarterly review and company procedures for review every six months. We check source availability monthly.
Each table states its own scope and update policy. The corrections page records material fixes.
How do we use AI tools?
AI tools help organize research, write code and draft text. We check source support and rendered pages before release.
AI assistance is not a credential, legal review or first-hand test. A freeze is described as tested only after a person completes it.
Who pays for this work?
We pay no referral fees and accept none. No attorney, adviser, real estate or insurance agent, title company or household employee is paid to send you to us, and nobody we mention pays us.
We sell our own services. Comparison pages disclose that ownership and identify where another option fits better.
