## Data we collect

- Names, contact details and the records each step needs, collected when the step needs them.
- Each adult's identity check result. Not the ID images.
- Signed permission forms, kept for as long as we act as the family's agent.

We never collect passwords or one-time codes. We never search for anyone outside the verified household.

## Security controls

- Hardware security keys on every account that holds client data.
- Documents exchanged through end-to-end encrypted links.
- Setup details deleted when the project ends.
- A mutual NDA with every engagement.
- Breach notice within 72 hours of discovery.
- Access limited to the founder and the providers below.
- **We are not SOC 2 audited.**

## Providers

- Cloudflare, for hosting, our database, email and message sorting.
- A payment and identity verification provider, named before checkout opens.
- A licensed private investigation agency for the Exposure Review's searches, named with its license number before we take payment.

## Licensing and insurance

Florida and several other states treat paid searches about a person's identity or whereabouts as private investigation. Our Review searches will run under a licensed agency. Professional liability and cyber insurance will be in place before the first paid engagement, with a certificate on request.

## Refusal policy

We decline households avoiding a lawsuit, judgment, creditors, a custody order, a protective order or service of papers, and any request to find or report on another person. [Read the full policy](https://golowprofile.com/promises#who-we-turn-away).
