Every numbered adult gets a separate checklist. Only the reporting company can place or lift a freeze.

If children are included, follow each company's current protected-consumer instructions. This edition does not assert that every company supports minors.

The order puts verified nationwide-bureau routes first, NCTUE next, then specialty files and prescreen controls. Missing companies are outside this edition.

Company access rules and lift times differ. The reminder seven days before an application is a planning suggestion, not an issuer deadline.

Confirm required lifts with the lender or provider and the reporting company. A job application does not imply every employment report is freezable.

## When should you use it again?

Review before an application and after any lift. The calendar includes a planning check before your date, a follow-up afterward and an annual review.
