A search removal, broker request and file freeze change different things. None of those actions proves that the underlying public source record was deleted.

## What does each control actually change?

| Record or access | Control | Documented effect | Next step | Limit | Source and check date |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |

| Publicly available source records | DROP | DROP excludes publicly available data from its deletion process. | Use the record-holding office's official correction or protection procedure where one exists. | GLP cannot promise removal or decide a legal entitlement. | [CalPrivacy, How DROP works](https://privacy.ca.gov/drop/how-drop-works/)Checked 2026-10-24 |

| Information provided directly to a business | DROP | The business is not required to delete first-party data based on the DROP request. | Use that business's own privacy request route. | The applicable law and business's obligations can differ. | [CalPrivacy, How DROP works](https://privacy.ca.gov/drop/how-drop-works/)Checked 2026-10-24 |

| A webpage removed from Google Search | Google Results about you | Search removal does not remove the information from its source webpage. | Contact the source website owner through its official route. | Google may deny requests for information valuable to the public. | [Google Search Help, Results about you](https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/12719076?hl=en)Checked 2026-10-24 |

| Credit report access | A credit freeze | A freeze restricts access to the credit report. It is an access control, not evidence that source records were deleted. | Manage each company's freeze separately and lift it when access is needed. | The statement about deletion is a logical distinction, not a claim that a particular record was deleted. | [USAGov, How to place or lift a security freeze](https://www.usa.gov/credit-freeze)Checked 2026-10-24 |

| Existing account review or collection | LexisNexis security freeze | The published freeze does not block every permitted existing-account request. | Read the company's current exceptions before relying on a freeze. | This does not establish every company's exemptions. | [LexisNexis security freeze instructions](https://consumer.risk.lexisnexis.com/freeze)Checked 2026-10-24 |

These are limits of named controls. Do not infer that every subscription service has the same scope.

Statements about access and source deletion are separate. A freeze's documented access restriction does not establish a deletion.

## Can Go Low Profile delete every source record?

No. Each record-holding office controls its records under the applicable rules. We cannot promise a deletion or decide a legal entitlement.

Our work coordinates the agreed requests and account changes. Your own attorney handles legal decisions.

We are Go Low Profile and sell our own services. Read the [service comparison](https://golowprofile.com/compare/family-privacy-services) for where a free route or subscription fits better.
